Biodiversity is an important factor for the preservation of nature. That’s why it’s a frequent topic of debate between forestry and nature conservation. Where can you find higher levels of biodiversity? In commercial, managed or in unmanaged, nautral forests? There are both positive and negative effects of management on biodiversity.
